About the service
The supplier’s name, website or Alibaba profile, and any documents or details you already have. If available, the Chinese legal name, business licence, quotation, invoice, and contact details can help improve the accuracy of the review.
Most reports are completed within 24–48 hours, depending on the package, complexity of the case, and availability of relevant information.
Quick focuses on basic company identity, registration and business scope. Standard adds ownership and corporate history. Deep includes broader legal, enforcement, regulatory and adverse-record screening.
No. Due diligence reduces uncertainty by identifying available information, inconsistencies and risk indicators. It cannot guarantee future behaviour, product quality, legality or transaction safety.
Not unless this is specifically agreed in advance. Our standard service is an independent desktop review based on available records and information.
No. Our service focuses on corporate and legal verification. A factory inspection, production audit, quality control review or physical site visit is a separate service and is not part of a supplier check.
Yes. If something in the report needs clarification, you can contact us after delivery and we can explain the findings or suggest useful follow-up questions for the supplier.
Understanding the records
Yes. An Alibaba profile can be used as a starting point, but we do not rely on the platform profile alone. We aim to identify and review the underlying legal entity.
This is common. The authoritative identifier is generally the supplier’s registered Chinese legal entity and its official registration details. English trade names may not uniquely identify the company.
Not necessarily. Registered capital is a corporate registration field and should not automatically be treated as proof of cash on hand, solvency or financial strength.
The absence of a public record does not prove that no issue exists. Source availability, identity matching and database coverage can vary.
Where lawful and reliable public records permit, Deep Due Diligence may review serious adverse legal or regulatory indicators connected to key persons. It is not a police criminal-record certificate or comprehensive personal background check.
Payment and working together
The scope and price are confirmed first. Research begins after payment is received.
Available payment methods are provided when the scope is confirmed. These may include PayPal or bank transfer, depending on availability.
Yes. We can support sourcing agencies and procurement professionals with independent supplier verification on a per-case basis.
Yes. Information submitted for a review is handled discreetly and used to review your request, carry out the engagement and keep the service secure.
